Greater Chattanooga Association of REALTORS®
On May 21, at their regularly scheduled meeting, the MLS Committee will consider reenabling the in-person open house feature in Flexmls.
Greater Chattanooga Realtors never banned in-person open houses. Rather, in light of the pandemic and continued CDC recommendations (i.e., masks, social distancing), in late March, we disabled the in-person open house function and enabled the virtual open house function.
In the meantime, should you decide to host an in-person open house, you are encouraged to consider NAR’s open house guidance found at the guide.
In addition to marketing open houses on social media and elsewhere, listing agents may include an open house date/ time in the Public Remarks (i.e., “Open House Sunday 2-4”), provided there is no branding or personal contact info in the Public Remarks.
